56ConsumablesWARNING• Do not throw toner cartridges or waste tonercontainers into open fl ame, or do not storethem or printing/copy paper in a placeexposed to open flame. This may cause themto ignite, resulting in burns or fi re.• Do not store toner cartridges in a placeexposed to open flame. Also, do not throwtoner cartridges into open flame. These maycause toner to ignite, resulting in burns or fire.• If you accidentally spill or scatter toner,carefully gather the toner particles togetheror wipe them up with a soft, damp cloth in away that prevents inhalation. Never use avacuum cleaner that does not havesafeguards against dust explosions to cleanup spilled toner. Doing so may cause amalfunction in the vacuum cleaner, or resultin a dust explosion due to static discharge.CAUTION• Keep toner and other consumables out of thereach of small children. If these items areingested, consult a physician immediately.• If toner touches your clothes or skin, wash itaway with water immediately. Do not usewarm water, as this may cause toner to fi x,resulting in a permanent stain.• Do not dismantle the toner cartridge, asdoing so may cause toner to fl y out andenter your eyes or mouth. If toner gets intoyour eyes or mouth, wash them immediatelywith cold water and immediately consult aphysician.• If toner escapes from the toner cartridge,make sure not to ingest the toner or allow itto directly touch your skin. If your skin stillfeels irritated after washing it, or you ingesttoner, consult a physician immediately.• When pulling out the waste toner container,be careful not to let it fall. This may result ininjury.• When replacing the stamp ink cartridge, becareful that your clothes or skin does not getstained with ink.
