Removing the Lens Stage Temporarily1) Remove the copyboard glass.2) Move the No. 1 mirror mount to the left of the scanner rail.Be sure to push the center of the No. 1 mirror mount.3) Remove the lens hood.4) Remove the mounting screw of the Y direction cable metal clamp; then, fix the endof the Y direction cable temporarily in place.5) Remove the mounting screw q, and remove the light-blocking belt retainer w (onlens mount).Figure 3-5196) Remove the mounting screw e, and remove the light-blocking curtain 2 (front) rtogether with the holder.
