Preparations 35/ / Selecting the Memory for the RecordingsYou can select to record your movies and photos in the built-in mem-ory or on a memory card. The built-in memory is the default memoryfor recording both.POINTS TO CHECK• Be sure you understand the information provided inEye-Fi cards( 33) before using an Eye-Fi card.* When selecting the memory, you can check the total, used and approximate avail-able recording time/number of photos (estimated based on the recording mode(movies) or photo size/quality (photos) currently in use).NOTES• Select the built-in memory for recording movies if you intend to converthigh-definition scenes to standard definition for Web upload ( 117) orcreating standard DVDs ( 109).Relay RecordingIf the memory becomes full while you are recording a movie, relayrecording allows the camcorder to automatically continue recording onto the memory card.1 Insert a memory card that does not contain any movies.2 Activate relay recording.Operating modes:Operating modes:[ Menu][Rec Media for Movies] or [Rec Media for Photos]Select the built-in memory or memory card*FUNC.FUNC.
