Different Size Originals3-22Special Copying Features3Different Size OriginalsThis mode enables you to copy different size originals together in one group, aslong as they have one side with an equal length (i.e., LTR and 11" x 17" ). Justmake sure that the sides of the originals with the same length be lined up when youplace them in the feeder and the machine will automatically select the appropriatepaper size and copy ratio for each original.In order to use the Different Size Originals mode, you need to assign this function toa Shortcut key in the Additional Functions menu before making copies. (See "UsingShortcut Keys," on p. 4-16.)IMPORTANTIf the machine is operating in the Different Size Originals mode, you cannot use theTwo-Page Separation, Frame Erase, or Image Combination modes.All originals placed together in the feeder must be the same weight (paper type).NOTEYou can use the stack bypass for the Automatic Paper Selection when:- The paper is loaded in the stack bypass- The paper size has been specified in 06 USE STACK BYPASS in COMMONSETTINGS from the Additional Functions menu- Automatic Paper Selection is set to '02 ON' for the stack bypass in the DRAWERELIGIBLTY menu1 Press [COPY].lights, and the Copy Basic Features screen appears.2 Place your originals in the feeder press the Shortcut key([1] to [4]) where you registered the Different Size Originalsmode.The screen displays [DIF SIZE DOC] on the upper left corner.COPYCOPYReduce1Enlarge2Two Page Separation3Frame Erase4
