Turn on the camcorder. –Load a disc. 31Abnormal characters appearon the screen. The camcorderdoes not operate properly.Disconnect the power source and reconnect it after a shorttime. If the problem still persists, disconnect the power sourceand press the RESET button with a pointed item. Pressing theRESET button resets all settings.–“ ” flashes on the screen. Replacethe battery.25Video noise appears onscreen.When using the camcorder in a room where a plasma TV islocated, keep a distance between the camcorder and theplasma TV.–Video noise appears on theTV screen.When using the camcorder in a room where a TV is located,keep a distance between the compact power adapter and thepower or antenna cables of the TV.–Even without a disc loaded,when closing the disccompartment cover a motorsound can be heard.The camcorder is checking if a disc is loaded or not. This is nota malfunction.–The disc cannot be ejected. Turn off the camcorder, disconnect the compact poweradapter and remove the battery pack. Restore the powersupply and try again.–The camcorder has exceeded its operational temperature.Disconnect the compact power adapter and remove thebattery pack and let the camcorder cool down before resuminguse.
