To avoid leaking or drying, follow these simple precautions:z Never attempt to disassemble an ink cartridge.z Never shake an ink cartridge.z Never unpack an ink cartridge until you are ready to install it.z Do not remove ink cartridges from the BJ Cartridge unnecessarily.z To prevent drying out the print head, never use the print head unit with an ink cartridgemissing.z Always install an ink cartridge as soon as you remove the protective cap and tape.z Keep unused ink cartridges out of the reach of children, and discard used ink cartridgesimmediately. If spilled, the ink is difficult to clean.66
