Instrumentation and Controls. . . 160■ MEMORY FEATUREThis feature allows two differentdrivers (driver number 1 or drivernumber 2) to store and recalltheir own driver's seat positions(including recliner and lumbaradjustment), outside mirrorpositions, steering wheel andadjustable pedal positions.The controls are located on thedriver’s door panel.To program the memory settings:1. Adjust the driver's seat,outside mirrors, steeringwheel and adjustable pedalsto your desired settings.2. Press and hold the appropriatedriver memory button (1 or 2)until you hear two beepsindicating the settings havebeen saved.Now, when your transmission is inP (Park) and you press one of thememory buttons, 1 or 2, you willhear a beep and the memorysettings will be recalled.Memory recall can be stopped bypressing any of the following:• power seat controls• power mirror controls• memory buttons 1 or 2• adjustable pedal switch• power tilt wheel switchYou can use the Driver InformationCenter to program the memoryfeature to adjust to your chosensettings when you press the unlockbutton on the Remote KeylessEntry transmitter.See the following under "DriverInformation Center" earlier in thissection for more information:• Feature Customization- MEMORY SEAT RECALLNote:Some mirrors may not becompatible with the memoryfeature.AKENG44_Escalade Page 160 Wednesday, July 16, 2008 12:22 PM
