Toreduce the risk of burns, peoplewith such a condition should usecare when using the seat heater,especially for long periods oftime. Do not place anything onthe seat that insulates againstheat, such as a blanket, cushion,cover, or similar item. This maycause the seat heater tooverheat. An overheated seatheater may cause a burn or maydamage the seat.If equipped, the buttons are near theclimate controls on the centre stack.To operate, the ignition must be inON/RUN/START.Press J or z to heat the driver orpassenger seat cushion andbackrest.Press C or { to ventilate the driveror passenger seat. A ventilated seathas a fan that pulls or pushes airthrough the seat. The air is notcooled.When this feature is off, the heatedand ventilated seat symbols on thebuttons are white. When a heatedseat is turned on, the symbol turnsred. When a ventilated seat isturned on, the symbol turns blue.Press the button once for thehighest setting. With each press ofthe button, the seat will change tothe next lower setting, and then tothe off setting. The indicator lightsnext to the buttons indicate three forthe highest setting and one for thelowest. If the heated seats are onhigh, the level may automatically belowered after approximately30 minutes.The passenger seat may takelonger to heat up.Auto Heated SeatsWhen the vehicle is on, this featurewill automatically activate theheated seats at the level required bythe vehicle's interior temperature.The active high, medium, low, or offheated seat level will be indicatedby the manual heated seat buttonson the centre console.
