This could result inserious injury or even death in acollision. To help make sureyour restraint systems areworking properly after a crash,have them inspected andreplaced, as necessary, as soonas possible.If you have been in a collisionwhere the belts may have beenstretched, or if the safety belt is cutor damaged, the belt needs to bereplaced. Repairs may benecessary even if the safety beltwas not used at the time of thecollision. Have the restraint systeminspected after a collision.If you are in a collision seriousenough to deploy the air bags, anybelt worn during the collision mustbe replaced.Your vehicle is equipped withsafety belt pretensioners.Pretensioners work only once. Ifthe pretensioners were activatedin a collision, they will need to bereplaced. If the air bag light stayson or comes on while you aredriving, have the safety beltpretensioners checked.
