227 . . .–Section 1CAUTIONDo not leave children in thevehicle with the ignition key ora transmitter.If your vehicle is equipped withthe Keyless Access System,vehicle ignition and startingfunctions could be activated ifthe transmitter is in the vehicle.The children could operate thepower windows or othercontrols and could even startthe vehicle and make thevehicle move.A child or others could beinjured or even killed.Do not leave childrenunattended in the vehicle.CAUTION (Continued)Children can be seriouslyinjured or killed if caught in thepath of a closing window.When children are riding in thevehicle, use the window lockoutfeature to prevent them fromoperating the power windows.Power WindowsPower window switches on thedriver's door control each of thewindows in the vehicle.Each passenger door has a controlswitch for its own window.Press the front part of a switch tothe first position to open thewindow as desired.AKENG40_CTS Page 227 Wednesday, July 23, 2008 11:47 AM
