3-12Storage ManagerArray GroupsThe tool bar at the top of the Logical Configuration View window,shown in Figures 3-4 and 3-5, contains the following buttons:You can use the Logical Configuration View window to create anycombination of RAID level 0, 1, or 5 disk arrays. RAID 0 arrays canbe any combination of individual drives. RAID 1 arrays arecomprised of multiple pairs of drives. RAID 5 arrays contain threeor more drives.One or more arrays of the same RAID level can be combined into amultilevel RAID, such as: RAID 0/1 for multiple RAID 1 arrays RAID 0/5 for multiple RAID 5 arraysThe drives in a multilevel RAID appear as a single LSU to the hostcomputer.Switch View Switches to the Logical Information View. Formore information, see page 3-21.Create Array Group Starts the process of collecting availableindividual drives to assemble into a RAID array.For more information, see page 3-16.Expand ArrayGroupWindows NT and Windows 2000 only—Allowsadding drives to an existing array anddynamically resizing the logical drive. For moreinformation, see page 3-21.Delete Array Group Allows deletion of the selected RAID array. Formore information, see page 3-23.Print Prints the configuration file of the selectedRAID array.
