Follow these precautions wheneveryou use the seat heaters:Both front seats are equipped withseat heaters. The passenger seatonly has heaters in the seat bottombecause of the side airbag off system.The ignition switch must be in theON (II) position to use them. Pushthe HI side of the switch to rapidlyheat up the seat. After the seatreaches a comfortable temperature,push the LO side of the switch. Thiswill keep the seat warm.In the HI setting, the heater turns offwhen the seat gets warm, and turnsback on after the seat’s temperaturedrops.In the LO setting, the heater runscontinuously. It does not cycle withtemperature changes.Use the HI setting only to heat theseats quickly, because it drawslarge amounts of current from thebattery.If the engine is left idling for anextended period, do not use theseat heaters even on the LOsetting.
