35KeyboardThe keyboard does not work• Make sure that the keyboard cable isplugged in correctly. For moreinformation, see the poster that camewith your computer.• Remove all extension cables and switchboxes.• Clean the keyboard by using an aerosolcan of air with a narrow, straw-likeextension to remove dust and linttrapped under the keys.• Try a keyboard that you know works tomake sure that the keyboard port works.• Reinstall the keyboard device driver.A keyboard character keeps repeating or yousee a “keyboard stuck” or “key failure” errormessage• Make sure that nothing is resting on thekeyboard.• Make sure that a key is not stuck.
