In the "Number of Rings" field,enter the number of rings youwant to set before the call isforwarded. Valid values are 1 to9.5. Click to save the CallForward settings. The changesare dynamic and are immedi-ately applied to the phone.For Per-Line Call Forward Settings(not applicable to the 9112i):1. Select a line to set Call Forward-ing on.2. There are two waysyou can configure this feature:• Using a static configuration• Using a programmableconfiguration (configure a soft-key)Note: The IP phones accept both meth-ods of configuration. However, toavoid redundancy, Aastra Tele-com recommends you configureeither a static configuration or aprogrammable configuration.The IP phones support the Park/Pickup feature on the Asterisk,BroadWorks, Sylantro, and ININPBX servers.The following paragraphs describethe park and pickup methods ofconfiguration on the IP phones.Park/Pickup Static ConfigurationYou can configure a staticconfiguration for parking andpicking up a call using the AastraWeb UI at Basic Settings->Preferences. By entering theappropriate value in the "ParkCall" and "Pickup Parked Call"fields, you tell the phone where topark a live call and where topickup the parked call.On the IP phone UI, the staticconfiguration method displays thefollowing:• When a call comes in, and youpickup the handset, the defaultlabel of "Park" displays on thePhone UI.• After pressing the "Park" soft-key to park the call, the defaultlabel of "Pickup" displays on thephone UI.
