200 After completing the third reg mark, the following window will open and remind you to wait until the laserlight has returned to the origin before pressing OK. Once you click on OK, the data will be sent and the arrow will be cut out.Adjusting the Laser Offset After the print and cut is completed, examine how the cut lines were made relative to the printed lines. If theoffset is large enough, use a mm ruler to measure. If the offset is very small, then just estimating will be fineas you refine your calibration. In the following diagram, the red lines represent the cut lines and the black lines represent the printed lines.Use this diagram to determine whether your Offset values need to raised or lowered for your laser: Modify your X and Y Offset values in the window shown at the end of Section 9.02. Start with 1 mmadjustments (like shown above). It’s a good idea to keep track of prior values, so that you’ll know which direction to change for subsequentcalibration tests. Remember that you should expect to get perfect results, so keep adjusting those X and YIf the red cut line isbelow the black printline, then decrease thevalue of X.If the red cut line isabove the black printline, then increase thevalue of X.If the red cut line is leftof the black print line, then increase thevalue of Y. (Note: Y isa negative number)If the red cut line is rightof the black print line, then decrease the valueof Y. (Note: Y is anegative number)Red line is lower thanblack line: change Xfrom 15.0 to 14.0.Red line is higher thanblack line: change Xfrom 15.0 to 16.0.Red line is left of black line:change Y from -28.0 to-27.0 (an increase to anegative number).Red line is 1mm right ofblack line: change Y from-28.0 to -29.0 (a decreaseto a negative number). This dot will now be flashing redOnce the light is centered on the reg markdot, click here or press Enter on yourkeyboard.Again, click on these arrows or your keyboardarrows until laser is on the reg mark corner.IMPORTANT: If the pin moves verticallydown and is still aligned with the third regmark (instead of returning to the rightlower corner where you set the origin), youwill need to download an earlier version ofthe KNK plugin.
