FontsThis option is effective when the console is connected to a managed machine or to the managementserver.The option defines the fonts to be used in the Graphical User Interface of Acronis Backup & Recovery10. The Menu setting affects the drop-down and context menus. The Application setting affects theother GUI elements.The preset is: System Default font for both the menus and the application interface items.To make a selection, choose the font from the respective combo-box and set the font's properties.You can preview the font's appearance by clicking the button to the right.3.2. Machine optionsThe machine options define the general behavior of all Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 agentsoperating on the managed machine, and so the options are considered machine-specific.To access the machine options, connect the console to the managed machine and then selectOptions > Machine options from the top menu.3.2.1. Event tracingIt is possible to duplicate log events generated by the agent(s), operating on the managed machine, inthe Application Event Log of Windows; or send the events to the specified SNMP managers. If you donot modify the event tracing options anywhere except for here, your settings will be effective foreach local backup plan and each task created on the machine.You can override the settings set here, exclusively for the events occurred during backup or duringrecovery (see Default backup and recovery options (p. 49).) In this case, the settings set here will beeffective for operations other than backup and recovery, such as archive validation or cleanup.You can further override the settings set in the default backup and recovery options, when creating abackup plan or a recovery task. The settings you obtain in this case will be plan-specific or task-specific.3.2.1.1. Windows event logThis option is effective only in Windows operating systems.This option is not available when operating under the bootable media.This option defines whether the agent(s) operating on the managed machine have to log events inthe Application Event Log of Windows (to see this log, run eventvwr.exe or select Control Panel >Administrative tools > Event Viewer). You can filter the events to be logged.You can override the settings set here, exclusively for the events that occur during backup or duringrecovery, in the Default backup and recovery options (p. 49).
