Additional installation procedure.GeneralCleanroom robots are specially designed to work in a cleanroom environment.Cleanroom robots are designed in order to prevent from particle emission from the robot. Forexample is maintenance work possible to perform without cracking the paint. The robot ispainted with four layers of polyurethane paint. The last layer being a varnish over labels inorder to simplify cleaning.Parts being replaced on a Cleanroom robot must be replaced with other parts designed for usein Cleanroom environments.Cleanroom class 5Particle emission from the robot fulfill Cleanroom class 5 standard according to DIN EN ISO14644-1.Preparations before commissioning a Cleanroom robotDuring transport and handling of a Cleanroom robot, it is likely that the robot has beencontaminated with particles of different sorts. Therefore the Cleanroom robot must beminutely cleaned before commissioning.
