Reducing device energy consumption helps combat smog, acid rain and long-term changes to the climate by decreasing the emissions that result from generatingelectricity.Xerox ENERGY STAR equipment is preset at the factory, to switch to Power Save Mode after a presettime following the last copy/print out. The default time set for the Xerox WorkCentre 3550 is 30minutes. A more detailed description of this feature can be found in the User Guide.
