To place an order for Xerox consumables, please contact your local XeroxRepresentative giving your Company Name, product number and the machine serial number. Suppliescan also be ordered from www.xerox.com, refer to Supplies on page 111 for further information.The machine serial number can be displayed by pressing the Machine Status button, then highlightingMachine Information and pressing OK. For further information about locating the serial number,please refer to Locating the Serial Number on page 190.Customer Replaceable UnitThere is one Customer Replaceable Unit in the machine, the PrintCartridge.The Print Cartridge will need to be replaced after printing thespecified number of pages or when the life span of the unit hasexpired.The machine will display a message when the Print Cartridgeneeds to be replaced. Only replace the unit when a messageinstructs you to do so or when instructed by a Xeroxrepresentative. To replace a Customer Replaceable Unit, follow the instructions provided within thisguide or with the consumable.To purchase a new Print Cartridge, contact your local Xerox representative or authorized dealer.Supplies can also be ordered from www.xerox.com, refer to Supplies on page 111 for furtherinformation.WARNING: When replacing consumables, DO NOT remove the covers or guards that are fastenedwith screws. You cannot maintain or service any of the parts that are behind these covers andguards. Do NOT attempt any maintenance procedure that is NOT specifically described in thedocumentation supplied with your machine.Storage and HandlingFollow the guidelines below for storing and handling Customer Replaceable Units:• Always store units unopened and inside their original package.• Store the correct side up in a horizontal position (not standing on end).• Do not store consumables in:• Temperatures greater than 40°C (104°F).• Humidity range less than 20% and not greater than 80%.• An environment with extreme changes in humidity or temperature.• Direct sunlight or room light.• Dusty places.
