For best results, use light-weight, laser-quality envelopes. Single-sided printing only. Keep unused envelopes in their original packaging to avoid dustand humidity, which can affect print-quality and cause wrinkling. When prompted, load a single envelope in the manual-feed slot,aligning it along the left side.General method for printing on envelopes1. In your application, create a document matching themeasurements of the envelope; refer to page 17 for the print areaand margins of supported envelopes.NoteMany applications include a tool for creating an envelope. Ifyou are using Microsoft WORD, refer to page 36 when usingWindows or page 37 when using a Macintosh. When usingother Macintosh applications, refer to page 38. For otherapplications, refer to your applicationís documentation.2. From your application or printer driver, make these selections: Set the orientation to Landscape. Select your envelope size. Select Manual Feed-Paper as the Paper Source. If your application has a tool for creating envelopes, selectthe feed method that matches the illustration in Step 4.3. Send the job to the printer.
