Attention to the following notes will ensure thecontinued safe operation of your printer.Electrical Safety Use the power cord supplied with your printer.WarningThis device not intended for use in health care facilities as shipped. Ifintended for use in health care facilities, a hospital-grade power cord mustbe used. Do not use a ground adapter plug to connect the printer to a power sourcereceptacle that lacks a ground connection terminal. Plug the power cord directly into a properly-grounded electrical outlet. Do not usean extension cord or power strip. If you do not know whether an outlet isgrounded, ask an electrician to check the outlet.WarningAvoid the potential of severe electrical shock by ensuring the printer isproperly grounded. Do not place the printer where people may step on the power cord. Do not place objects on the power cord. Do not obstruct the ventilation openings. These openings are provided to preventoverheating of the printer.WarningDo not push objects into slots or openings on the printer. Making contactwith a voltage point or shorting out a part could result in fire or electricalshock. The power cord is attached to the printer as a plug-in device at the back of theprinter.
