This version corrects a timing problem that resultedin jobs being lost at the controller.– Version 2.2 of the DocuJob Converter software, which runsunder Solaris 2.6 on a Sun Ultra 60 platform, is available.VIPP Interpreter– VIPP 4.1 demo mode is included with a DocuSP 3.7x newinstallation for most of the supported printers. In order tofully use VIPP 4.1, a production kit and a license will need tobe obtained from your Xerox representative. ExistingDocuSP customers with a VIPP license should be able toupgrade to DocuSP 3.7x and VIPP 4.1. In order to use VIPP4.1, the DocuSP must be at version 3.1 or higher.– VIPP Core 5.0 will be available in the 4th quarter for upgrade.– Please reference the VIPP documentation for additionalinformation pertaining to VIPP.– VIPP Jobs that reference DigiPath 4.0 RDOs as job contentdo not print successfully. The DigiPath 4.0 VIPP API workswith VIPP Core 5.0 and does not work with earlier VIPPreleases. Ensure that VIPP Core 5.0 is installed on theDocuSP.DigiPath– Please reference the DigiPath 4.x Customer SoftwareRelease Supplement for additional information pertaining toDigiPath.– Many of the DocuSP color image quality controls are notavailable in the print job programming offered on DigiPath,e.g. trapping, emulations, and halftone selection. Submitjobs to a queue set for Release=No and complete the jobprogramming.– DigiPath scans containing black text and/or line art print as amuddy brown. The image file does not contain a black colorchannel. Select the job property "Print as Grayscale”.Selecting "Print as Grayscale" may introduce moiré intoimages.
