CHAPTER 5: PROGRAMMING MODESMODEL HF2 2 kHz HIGH FREQUENCY RESISTANCE WELDING POWER SUPPLY5-2 990-057Basic Weld Monitor Run StateWhen MENU, OPTIONS 1, WELD MONITOR:is set to BASIC, pressing [CHNG] will cause thedisplay screen to switch from the Weld GraphRUN screen to the Basic Weld Monitor RUNscreen. Setting WELD MONITOR to LIMITcauses the Energy Limit Monitor screen to bedisplayed. See Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 fordetailed instructions.Pressing [CHNG] again causes the Basic Weld Monitor RUN screen to switch to the AlphanumericRUN screen. Pressing [CHNG] once more returns the display screen to the Weld Graph RUN screen.Alphanumeric RUN StatePressing [CHNG] will cause the display screento change from the Basic Weld Monitor RUNscreen, if this option has been set to ON, to theAlphanumeric RUN screen. Pressing [CHNG]again will return the HF2 Weld Control to theWeld Graph screen. Welding can be performedin any RUN screen.NO WELD StateSwitching the WELD/NO WELD front panelswitch to the NO WELD position prevents weldcurrent from flowing but does permit the HF2Weld Control to performing its electronicfunctions. Use the NO WELD State whenadjusting the air regulators on Air ActuatedWeld Heads.STANDBY StateThe HF2 Weld Control is waiting for amandatory event to occur such as: (a) the FiringSwitch in a Unitek Peco Air Actuated WeldHead to close; (b) the second level of a 2-LevelFoot Switch to close; or (c) waiting to be reset toanother schedule after a STOP Command in aChained Schedule.
