Keep anyone but a guide away from theworking areaDo not let other persons or truckapproach your lift truck during operationWhen working in a group, have a personpresent to give guidance and follow hisinstructionsDo not use your truck for purposes otherthan specified:Do not use the truck to open or close the doors of•freight cars or warehouses.Do not push other trucks.•Do not hoist loads, using ropes hung on the•forks.Do not tow another vehicle using the draw bar.•Do not push or pull loads with forks; otherwise,•the load might fall off or get damaged. Inparticular, the truck with the max. lift height ofmore than 150 cm might tip over, if you try to dothat.Pay attention to the fork tipsThe fork tips are sharp and could cause personalinjury. In addition, if they catch on obstructions, thetruck might lose control, leading to an accident.Adjust fork spacing properlyAdjust the fork spacing suitable according to thesize of the load.Adjust fork spacing with your feetAdjust the fork spacing with your feet. Do not useyour hands. You hands might get pinched betweenthe forks and carriage.Make sure forks are securely lockedAfter adjusting the fork spacing, lock the forkswith fork stoppers. Unlocked forks will slide duringtraveling, causing the load to fall off.Do not put your hands or feet into theload handling systemWARNINGNever put your hands or feet on the mast ormast connecting members; otherwise yourhands or feet might be cut if the mast movesunexpectedly.WARNING1-24LOAD HANDLING |
