TROUBLESHOOTING1. Unit does not operate (with drain pump; lighton control board is not illuminated)Causea. No electrical power to the unit.b. Rocker switch set incorrectly.c. Drain tube is kinked or obstructed.d. Bad pump. Diagnose by bypassing the pump.Pull both pink wires from control board andjump the two terminals together. If unit startsup, then the pump is bad.2. Unit does not operate (without drain pump;light on control board is not illuminated)Causea. No power to unit.3. Unit does not operate and light on controlboard is illuminatedCausea. Bad bin thermostat.b. Bin thermostat set incorrectly.4. No ice productionCausea. No water supplied to unit.b. Stand pipe not inserted in water trough.c. Re-circulating pump is defective.5. Low ice productionCausea. High ambient temperatures around unit.b. Deposit build-up on evaporator grid.c. Ice thickness dial set incorrectly.d. Dirty condenser coil.Remedya. Make sure unit is plugged in and outlethas power.b. Check switch wiring. Set to “ICE.”c. Clear the tubing. If water cannot drain frompump, unit will shut down due to safetydesign of pump.d. Change pump. Jumping the two terminalstogether on the control board with a jumperwire will eliminate pump from the circuit.Remedya. Jumper plug off power cord.Remedya. Replace bin thermostat.
