34User’s ManualSTORAGE, VACATION AND MOVINGIf the unit is to be stored, moved or not used for extended periods, itwill be necessary to drain the system of water.Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect powerbefore servicing. Before operating replace allpanels. Failure to do so can result in death orelectrical shock.1. Disconnect power from the unit.2. Remove ice from the storage bin.3. Shut off water supply at the main water source.4. Disconnect the inlet and outlet lines to the water valve and allowthem to drain.NOTEBack panel must be removed prior to disconnecting thewater lines.If the ambient temperature is expected to drop below 45°F,drain all water from the unit to prevent freezing damage notcovered by the warranty.NOTEThe use of anti-freeze or other products of this nature isnot necessary and is not recommended.5. Reconnect inlet and outlet lines to the water valve.6. Replace back panel.7. Drain water from the water trough and drain line by removing theoverflow tube (see Figure 34).! WARNING! WARNING
