A fire orexplosion from fuel can burn you and othersand can damage property.Refer to Fuel Safety (page 14) for a completelist of fuel related precautions.Replacing the Fuel FilterService Interval: Every 200 hours/Yearly (whichevercomes first) (more often in dirty ordusty conditions).The fuel filter is located near the engine on the frontor rear side of the engine.1. Park the machine on a level surface, move thespeed-control lever to the NEUTRAL position,disengage the blade-control switch (PTO), andengage the parking brake.2. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and waitfor all moving parts to stop before leaving theoperating position.3. Allow the machine to cool down.4. Clamp the hose on the fuel tank side of the fuelfilter.5.
