Lubricate the bronze bushings on each end ofthe brake rod shaft with a spray type lubricantor a light oil.Note: The bushings are located to the insideof the flange bearings.5. Lubricate each end of both steering linkage rodswith a spray lubricant or a light oil.Changing the Gearbox OilService Interval: After the first 50 hours—Changethe oil in all 3 gearbox housings andadd oil as needed.Every 100 hours—Check the oil in all 3 gearboxhousings and add oil as needed.Every 2,000 hours—Change the oil in all 3gearbox housings and add oil as needed.1. Apply a Teflon® pipe sealant to all small magneticplugs and install them into the gearbox.9. Install the gearbox and drive-shaft assembly tothe mower deck.10. Fill the gearbox with Mobil® SHC (synthetic)75W-90 gear lube oil until level with oil drain/fillplug.33
