Fault 93: 48V Bus Undervolt—M/GInfoCenter Display:_____FAULT #93_____48V Bus LO VFault DescriptionThe motor/generator controller has detected that the 48 Vdc bus dropped below the low voltage limit.Circuit DescriptionThe motor/generator supplies the 48 Vdc bus power to the 48 Vdc battery pack.Conditions for Setting the FaultWhen the M/G controller detects that the 48 Vdc bus has dropped below the low voltage limit of 36 Vdc,the M/G controller disables its motor. The TEC-5002 filters this fault and allows it to occur only when themotor/generator contactor is closed.Recommended Service ActionsStep 1: Verify that the fault repeats.1. Clear the system faults from the InfoCenter. Refer to Clearing Faults from the InfoCenter (page 21).2. Operate the machine.Pass The fault did not repeat. Go to Returning the Machine to Service (page 22) and follow the steps listed.Note: If the fault does not repeat, an isolated event has occurred.Fail The fault repeated. Go to Step 2.Step 2: Determine the troubleshooting strategy. If only the motor/generator is reporting a 48 Vdc Bus Undervolt, the problem is more likely to be with the 48 Vdcbus connection to the motor/generator. Go to Step 3.If more than 1 cutting reel motor and the motor/generator are reporting a 48 Vdc Bus Undervolt, the problem ismore likely to be with the 48 Vdc bus voltage. Perform the Recommended Service Actions for Fault 29: 48VBattery Low Voltage (page 101).Step 3: Test the main 48 Vdc contactor.1. Raise and support the operator’s seat, then remove the cover from the main contactor. See Figure 155.362
