3. Locate and remove fuse F2-4 (35 amp) for testing.4. Measure the resistance of the fuse. The reading should be 1 ohm or less.Pass The fuse tested good. Install fuse F2-4. Go to Step 3.Fail The fuse failed the test. Replace the fuse. Go to Returning the Machine to Service (page 22) andfollow the steps listed.Step 3: Inspect the wiring for cutting reel motor 4.1. Cutting unit 2, which includes cutting reel motor 2 5. Cutting unit 5, which includes cutting reel motor 53. Cutting unit 3, which includes cutting reel motor 32. Follow the cutting reel motor cable from cutting reel motor 4 to the connector plate mounted on thetraction unit.Note: The 2 cutting reel motor cable connectors are secured with clips to the connector plate. The 2main harness connectors are not secured to the connector plate.3. Disconnect main harness connectors P48 and P49 from the cutting reel motor cable connectors mountedon the traction unit.4. Inspect the 2 cutting reel motor cable connectors and the 2 main harness connectors for the following:• damage• corrosion• debris• proper alignment and seating of the pins inside the connectors5.
