The receiver and TV will automaticallyswitch to the appropriate HDMI input.System Audio ControlYou can enjoy the TV sound from thespeakers connected to the receiver by asimple operation.You can operate System Audio Controlfunction using the TV menu. For details,refer to the operating instructions of theTV.You can also use the System Audio Controlfunction as follows.• If you turn on the receiver while the TV isturned on, the System Audio Controlfunction will automatically activate tooutput TV sound through the speakersconnected to the receiver. However, ifyou turn off the receiver, the sound willoutput from the TV speakers.• When you enjoy the TV sound from thespeakers connected to the receiver, youcan adjust the volume or turn off thesound temporarily by using the TV’sremote control.• If System Audio Control does not functionaccording to your TV setting, refer to theoperating instructions of the TV.• When “Control for HDMI” is set to “On”, the“HDMI Audio Out” settings in the HDMISettings menu will set automatically based onthe System Audio Control settings (page 94).• If the TV is turned on before turning on thereceiver, the TV will momentarily loose thesound output.System Power-OffWhen you turn the TV off, using the powerbutton on the TV’s remote control, thereceiver and the connected equipment turnoff automatically.You can also use the receiver’s remotecontrol to turn off the TV.Press TV ?/1.The TV, receiver and the connectedequipment are turned off.• Set the TV power supply interlock function toon before using the System Power-Off function.For details, refer to the operating instructions ofthe TV.• Depending on the condition of the connectedequipment, it may not be turned off.
