16Tips• Preset Dial also allows you to make a call bypressing a number button twice after pressing(CALL).• On the “Dialed Calls,” “Received Calls” and “PresetDial” menus, you can make a call by pressing(CALL) while the phone number is displayed.Presetting the volume of ring toneand talker’s voiceYou can preset the volume level of the ring toneand talker’s voice.To adjust the ring tone:Rotate the joystick while the phone is ringing.“Ring Vol” appears and ring tone volume is set.To adjust the talker’s voice:Rotate the joystick during a call. “Talk Vol”appears and the talker’s voice volume is set.Sending DTMF (Dual Tone MultipleFrequency) tonesYou can send DTMF tones.To send DTMF tones, use the joystick or pressthe required number buttons (0 – 9, or ) onthe card remote commander during a call.Receiving callsWhen receiving a call, ring tone is output fromyour car speakers.For details on the settings for receiving a call andduring a call, see “Setting a handsfree device” onpage 17.1 When receiving a call, press (CALL),(MENU) or (Bluetooth).The phone call starts.To reject a callPress (OFF).Tips• If you set “Auto Answer” to on, the phone call isautomatically started in the set time (page 17).• If (CALL) is pressed during a call, the handsfreefunction is deactivated, and the microphone andspeaker of the cellular phone are activated.
