40 PBD-51041048SITRANS LG250 - Operating Instructions44277-EN-200212• Read from sensor: Read data from sensor and store into thedisplay and adjustment module• Write into sensor: Store data from the display and adjustmentmodule back into the sensorThe following data or settings for adjustment of the display and ad-justment module are saved:• All data of the menu "Setup" and "Display"• In the menu "Additional adjustments" the items "Reset, Date/Time"• Special parametersPrerequisitesThe following requirements must be met for a successful transmis-sion:• The data can only be transferred to the same device type, e.g.SITRANS LG250• It must be the same probe type, e.g. rod probe• The firmware of both devices is identicalThe copied data are permanently saved in an EEPROM memory inthe display and adjustment module and remain there even in case ofpower failure. From there, they can be written into one or more sen-sors or kept as backup for a possible electronics exchange.Note:Before the data are stored in the sensor, a check is carried out todetermine if the data fit the sensor. If the data do not fit, a fault signalis triggered or the function is blocked. When data are being writteninto the sensor, the display shows which instrument type the dataoriginate from and which TAG-no. this sensor had.Tip:We recommend to save the instrument adjustments. In case of anelectronics exchange the saved parameter adjustment data relievethis process.Since scaling is very extensive, scaling of the level value was dividedinto two menu items.In menu item "Scaling variable" you define the scaling variable andthe scaling unit for the level value on the display, e.g. volume in l.Scaling levelScaling level - Scalingprime
