Thisstep can be omitted if you do not wish to use either of these functions. The key-operated switch must be set to position 3 in order to issue a useragreement.Step 8:Carry-out the acceptance test and enter in the logbook. A function test must be carried-out for all of the enabled safe monitoring func-tions and for each axis/spindle. For suggestions on how to test activated SIfunctions, please refer to Subsection 9.5.2, “Acceptance test” and 9.5“Accep-tance report”.Step 9:Save machine data. Save all machine data using the “Services” area. This data can be used to com-mission series equipment.! CautionAfter the acceptance test has been completed, all illegal (old) MD files must beremoved from the Flashcard (to avoid confusion between old and new data).Data that corresponds to the acceptance test data must be backed-up (archived).Step 10:Delete (clear) the password in order to prevent the unauthorized change of ma-chine data.
