en Home Connect40Confirming settingsOnce cooking settings have been successfullytransmitted to a cooking position, a message willappear on the hob. You will be asked whether you wantto use these settings. To confirm that you want to usethese settings, touch "Apply". To reject these settings,touch "Discard".Software updateUsing the software update function, the hob's softwarecan be updated (e.g. for the purpose of optimisation,troubleshooting or security updates). To use the app,you must first register as a Home Connect user, installthe app on your mobile device and connect to theHome Connect server.The Home Connect app will tell you when a softwareupdate is available. You can start the software updatevia the app or the hob.
