Open the docking menu.2. Touch the ' symbol.The childproof lock is now activated. The hob is nowlocked.DeactivatingFollow the instructions on the display panel.The lock is now released.Childproof lockWith this function, the childproof lock automaticallyactivates when a hob is switched off.Switching on and offYou can find out how to switch the automatic childprooflock on in the ~ "Basic settings" sectionŠPausePaus eThe selected settings are retained while the pausefunction is activated, but no power level is used and thecooking times that have been set will stop.If you have activated the alarm or the timer, it willcontinue running. You cannot change the alarm timewhen the pause function is activated.The pause function has no effect on the main switch.You can still switch off the hob at any time.ActivationTouch the H symbol. The hob will remain locked for 30minutes. You can now clean the surface of thetouchscreen display, for example, without inadvertentlychanging the settings.DeactivatingTo deactivate the function before 30 minutes havepassed, touch the H symbol and then touch Continue.The hob will switch off automatically after 30 minutes.Note: If you move the cookware across the cookingsurface while the function is still activated, the settingsmay be lost.bAutomatic safety cut-outAut omat i c s af et y c ut - out If a cooking zone operates for an extended period andno settings are changed, the automatic safety switch-offis activated.This stops the cooking zone from heating up. Anotification will appear on the display.Touching any symbol will switch off the display. Thecooking zone can now be reset.The point at which the automatic safety switch-offbecomes active depends on the power setting in use(after 1 to 10 hours).
