1-16BEFORE STARTINGABOUT CONVENIENT DIALLINGAuto DiallingThis model has an easy to use auto dialling feature. Frequently used fax numbers and names can be entered, easily dialed tosend faxes, and searched. (See page 2-7)lllll Rapid Dialling (35 rapid keys available)By simply pressing a rapid key (01 to 35) you can dialthe number stored for that rapid key. You can store arecipient's name using up to 20 characters.lllll Speed Dialling (150 speed dial numbersavailable)By pressing the SPEED DIAL key, a 3-digit number (000to 149), and the START key, you can dial the numberstored for that speed dial number.lllll Search DiallingBy pressing the SEARCH DIAL key you can search rapidkeys or speed dial numbers for a number that you haveforgotten,display the numer on the message display anddial. To perform search dialing use the followingprocedure.1. Press the SEARCH DIAL key.2. Enter the first few characters of the recipients name(you can skip this step).3. Press the ENTER key.4. Select the recipient's phone number using the left arrowkey ( ) or right arrow key ( ).5. Press the START key.lllll Group Dialling (maximum 35 keys)Rapid keys and speed dial numbers can be entered intoone group dial key. This is useful for sending faxes tomany recipients in order.*There is a total of 35 keys available for rapid keys andgroup dial keys.Notel When using auto dialling, you must first enter the recipient's name and phone number.(See page 2-19)l To avoid wrong numbers and mis-sent faxes when using auto dialling, look at the display when youenter the numbers to confirm that they are correct.
