InstallationInstallationEnglish22STEP 4 Connect the water hoseThe dryer must be connected to a cold water tap using the provided water hoses.1. Close the cold water tap. If you have awasher cold water hose attached to thecold water faucet, unscrew and removethe hose. Then, connect the female endof the Y connector to the cold watertap.2. Connect the straight end of the waterhose to the Y connector.3. Using pliers, tighten the coupling anadditional two-thirds turn. Do notovertighten because the coupling maybe damaged.4. Connect the angled end of the waterhose to the filling valve at the bottomof the rear frame. Turn the couplingmanually until it is tight.5. Using pliers, tighten the coupling anadditional two-thirds turn. Do notovertighten because the coupling maybe damaged.6. If you detached the cold water hosefrom your washer, attach the hoseto the open end of the Y connector,tighten the coupling until it is tight,and then, using a pliers, tighten anadditional two-thirds turn.7.
