Do notmodify the plug provided with yourdryer – if it doesn’t fit the outlet, havea proper outlet installed by a qualifiedelectrician.• To prevent unnecessary risk of fire,electrical shock, or personal injury, allwiring and grounding must be done inaccordance with local codes, or in theabsence of local codes, in accordancewith the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70-Latest Revision (for theU.S.) or the Canadian Electrical Code CSAC22.1 – Latest Revisions and local codesand ordinances. It is your responsibilityto provide adequate electrical servicefor your dryer.• All gas installations must be done inaccordance with the national Fuel CodeANSI/Z2231 – Latest Revision (for theU.S.) or CAN/CGA – B149 InstallationCodes – Latest Revision (for Canada)and local codes and ordinances.GroundingThis dryer must be grounded. In the eventof malfunction or breakdown, the groundwill reduce the risk of electrical shock byproviding a path of least resistance for theelectrical current.Gas modelsWARNING• Your dryer has a cord with anequipment-grounding conductor anda grounding plug.
