Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone,alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and waxremovers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount ofdetergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.15. Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles,rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber padsshould not be dried in the tumble dryer.16. Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified by thefabric softener instructions.17. The final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool downcycle) to ensure that the items are left at a temperature that ensures thatthe items will not be damaged.18.Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and matches.19. WARNING: Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycleunless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat isdissipated.20. Exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used forexhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.21.
