Although somefeatures, such as Mobile Web services and Voice Command, will beunavailable, you can still make and receive calls and access voicemail.You will experience a few differences: You are more likely to experience static, cross-talk, fade-out,and dropped calls. Some features which are standard on the network, such as callwaiting, web services, and direct international dialing, areunavailable. Though callers can leave voicemail messages while you areroaming, you will not receive notification until you return to thenetwork. While roaming, you can periodically check yourvoicemail for new messages by dialing 1+area code+yourPhone Number. Press when you hear your greeting andenter your passcode at the prompt. There are security and privacy risks (eavesdropping andcloning) that exist with conventional analog services today. Your battery needs recharging sooner when you use yourphone for analog roaming.Note: If you’re on a call when you leave the network and enter an areawhere roaming is available, your call is dropped. If your call is dropped inan area where you think service is available, turn your phone Off and Onagain to reconnect to the network.
