32 Controlling Your Phone’s SettingsAirplane ModeWhen your phone is in Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive anycalls or access online information. Press for Settings.3. Press for Airplane Mode.4. Press to continue.5. Press the navigation key up or down to select On or Off andpress .While in Airplane Mode, your phone’s standby screen will display“Phone off.” The phone will power cycle when you change fromAirplane mode "On" to Airplance mode "Off". Turning the phone offand on again will reset the phone to airplance mode "off" .Note: 911 and emergency calls can not be made in Airplane mode "on"Phone Setup OptionsShortcutYour phone offers you the option of assigning the navigation key tofavorite or often-used function. The center of the navigation keycannot be changed. Pressing the navigation key left in standby modewill launch your user-defined shortcut.To assign your shortcut key:1. Press for Main Menu.2.
