108 CameraTaking PicturesTaking pictures with your phone’s built-in Digital Camera is as simpleas choosing a subject, pointing the lens, and pressing a button. Youcan activate Camera mode and take pictures whether the phone isopen or closed.To Take a Picture With the Phone Open:1. Press for Main Menu.2. Press for Pictures.3. Press for Camera.Shortcut: To activate Camera mode, you can also press or theSide Camera button twice. (see illustration on page 3). You can alsopress and hold either button to activate the camera.4. Using the phone’s main LCD as a viewfinder, aim thecamera lens at your subject. Use the thumb wheel to movethe lens up or down.5. Hold the camera steady. To take the picture, press orthe Side Camera button until the shutter sounds.To Take a Picture With the Phone Closed:1. Rotate the flip to the out position and close. Press and hold theSide Camera button to activate Camera mode.2. Point the camera lens at your subject.
