136 Mail KitSending OptionsWhen you are sending a new text message, there are optionsassociated with the new message. These options allow you toconfigure the following: Priority - allows you to set the priority level betweenNormal and Urgent. Validity - allows you to configure the amount of time amessage is good before it can no longer be read by therecipient. If the message is not read in the time allotted, it iscancelled. Send Later - allows you to time delay the sending of amessage using one of the preset time limits. Delivery Ack - requests that a delivery acknowledgment issent upon reading the new message. Message Save - allows you to configure the Auto-Save, DoNot Save, or Prompt Save options for the new message.To read a Text Message:1. When you receive a text message, you will see “New TextMessage” on your display screen. Select OK.To reply to a Text Message:1. While the message is open, select Menu Reply.2. Compose your reply or use canned messages. Use your keypad to type a message. Use the right softkey toselect a character input mode. To use canned messages press for CannedMsg.
