More ad-vanced Video CD operation is explained start-ing on the next page.1 Source iconShows what the source has been selected.2 V-CD indicatorShows when a Video CD is playing.3 Track number indicatorShows the track currently playing.4 Play time indicatorShows the elapsed playing time of the cur-rent track.5 Audio output indicatorShows the output channel selected cur-rently.1 Touch the source icon and then touchDVD to select the DVD player.# When the source icon is not displayed, youcan display it by touching the screen.# If no disc is loaded in this unit, you cannot se-lect DVD (DVD player). Insert a disc in this unit.(Refer to page 19.)# With a Video CD featuring the PBC (playbackcontrol) function, a menu is displayed.2 Switch the remote control operationmode to DVD and then press 010 to selectthe desired menu item.Playback starts from the selected menu item.# When the menu is two or more pages long,touch o or p to switch between displays.# You can play a disc without using a menu(without PBC playback). (Refer to Searching for adesired scene, starting playback from a specifiedtime on page 38.) To return to PBC playback, stopplayback and touch f.# You can display the menu by pressingRETURN during PBC playback. For details, referto the instructions provided with the disc.# After operating the menu, we recommendthat you switch remote control operation mode toAVH. (Refer to page 16.)3 Touch the screen to display the touchpanel keys.4 To skip back or forward to anothertrack, touch o or p.Touching p skips to the start of the nexttrack. Touching o once skips to the start ofthe current track.
