Scanning CDs and tracksWhile you are using DISC, the beginning ofeach track on the selected disc plays for about10 seconds. When you are using M-CD, thebeginning of the first track of each disc isplayed for about 10 seconds.1 Select the repeat range.Refer to Repeating play on the previous page.2 Touch A.MENU and FUNCTION and thentouch SCAN.3 Touch a to turn scan play on.The first 10 seconds of each track of the cur-rent disc (or the first track of each disc) isplayed.4 When you find the desired track (ordisc) touch b to turn scan play off.NoteAfter track or disc scanning is finished, normalplayback of the tracks will begin again.Pausing CD playbackPause lets you temporarily stop disc playback.1 Touch A.MENU and FUNCTION and thentouch PAUSE.2 Touch a to turn pause on.Play of the current track pauses.# To turn pause off, touch b.Using ITS playlistsITS (instant track selection) lets you make aplaylist of favorite tracks from those in themulti-CD player magazine. After you haveadded your favorite tracks to the playlist youcan turn on ITS play and play just those selec-tions.Creating a playlist with ITSprogrammingYou can use ITS to enter and playback up to 99tracks per disc, up to 100 discs (with the disctitle). (With multi-CD players sold before theCDX-P1250 and CDX-P650, up to 24 tracks canbe stored in the playlist.)1 Play a CD that you want to program.Touch a or b to select a CD.2 Touch A.MENU and FUNCTION and thentouch NEXT.3 Touch ITS MEMORY.4 Touch c or d to select a desired track.5 Touch a to store the currently playingtrack in the playlist.MEMORY is displayed briefly and the cur-rently playing selection is added to your play-list. The display then shows track numberagain.NoteAfter data for 100 discs has been stored in mem-ory, data for a new disc will overwrite the oldestone.Playback from your ITS playlistITS play lets you listen to the tracks that youhave entered into your ITS playlist.
