38Configure the alarm settings [Alarm setup]The settings relating to alarm occurrences such as settings for the alarm action at an alarm occurrence, the alarmoccurrence notification, and the VMD area settings can be configured on this page.The "Alarm setup" page has 3 tabs; the [Alarm] tab, the [VMD area] tab and the [Notification] tab.The terminal alarms 1, 2, and 3 indicate the EXT I/Os 1, 2, and 3, respectively ( Installation Guide).Configure the settings relating to the alarm [Alarm]Click the [Alarm] tab on the "Alarm setup" page. ( pages 4 and 5: How to display/operate the setup menu) Alarm setupThe settings relating to the alarm can be configured in this section. Refer to pages 39, 41 and 42 for further informa-tion about the settings relating to the camera action at an alarm occurrence, the alarm image and the alarm outputterminal.[Terminal alarm 1]Determine whether or not to use a terminal alarm 1 byselecting "OFF", "Alarm input" or "Black & white input".OFF: Does not use alarms.Alarm input: Uses alarms.Black & white input: Toggles between black & whiteand color in accordance with input.Note:When an input is provided to the Black & white inputduring patrol, the patrol action stops. If the patrolaction is continued, select "Patrol 1" in the [Selfreturn] box.Default: OFF[Terminal alarm 2]Determine whether or not to use a terminal alarm 2 byselecting "OFF", "Alarm input" or "Alarm output".OFF: Does not use alarms.Alarm input: Uses alarms.Alarm output: Alarm output will be carried out accord-ing to the settings for "Alarm output terminal setup"( page 42).Default: OFF[Terminal alarm 3]Determine whether or not to use a terminal alarm 3 byselecting "OFF", "Alarm input" or "AUX output".OFF: Does not use.Alarm input: Uses alarms.AUX output: The AUX buttons will be displayed on the"Live" page.Default: OFFNote:AUX is a camera terminal that allows users to oper-ate (OPEN/CLOSE) at will from the "Live" page. Forexample, an operator can remotely control lights in aplace where the camera is installed by connectingthe terminal to the light controller.[VMD alarm]Select "ON" or "OFF" to determine whether or not toperform the alarm action using the VMD function.
