51LOCK/UNLOCK BUTTONS■ Password VerificationWhen a locked button is pressed, the key locked warningappears on the monitor for 2 seconds, then it turns to thepassword prompt.1. Enter your five-digit password using the [CAM SELECT]buttons (1-8). The buzzer shortly beeps once, and theentered digit changes from “–“ to “*” on the monitor.2. The prompt window will display “ KEY UNLOCKED!” for2 seconds, and the buzzer beeps twice if the correctpassword is entered.The monitor returns to the previous display. Therecorder allows access to the front panel controls if abutton operation takes place within 5 minutes of pass-word entry.3. Retry verification when password error appears on themonitor.The recorder will exit from verification if there is no opera-tion within 30 seconds.PASSWORD /-----■ Enabling Button Lock1. You need to register passwords in the SYSTEM SETUPwindow prior to operate your system.2. Press the [LOCK] button for 2 seconds.The buzzer shortly beeps twice, and the LED in the but-ton lights up. The “KEY LOCKED DONE!” messageappears on the monitor.Note: Set PASSWORD LOCK to OFF if you do not wantthe recorder to revert to button lock mode when nooperation takes place within 5 minutes.KEY LOCK DONE!LOCK
