At the correct time, the DVBsystem will switch on and tune to the correct station (even if the TV is in Standby mode). If the recording equipment iscompatible with Q-Link or similar technologies (p. 42) and connected to the TV’s AV3 terminal using a SCART cable(p. 46), you do not need to programme the device – the DVB system will control the recording process.TV Guide may also be used to set timer programmes.
