79Sending Documents via Telephone Line1. The File Number of the document being stored is shown at the upperright corner of the display while storing the document. It is also printedon the Communication Journal (COMM. JOURNAL), TransactionJournal and File List. The percentage of memory used is shown on thelower right corner of the display after each page is stored.2. If a memory overflow occurs while storing documents into memory, allthe remaining documents in the ADF will be ejected. The machine willprompt on the display, whether to start transmitting those pages whichare successfully stored or to delete them. Press 1to delete; press2to transmit. See Specifications on page 174 for the image memorycapacity.If no action is taken within 10 seconds, the machine will starttransmitting the stored pages.3. An Information Code will be displayed if the transmission has failed orno answer at the receiving side after the last automatic redial.The document stored for this transmission will be erased from thememory automatically and the information code is printed for thetransmission on the Communication Journal (COMM.JOURNAL).4. When a power failure occurs, the document information stored in memory will be lost and a PowerFailure Report will be printed automatically after the power is restored. (see page 158)5.
